Climate Change-Increasing development in the northwest increases the temperatures all around the world.
-Because of climate change and human demand, there is a 20% decrease in total water flowing through the Colorado river. -The low water level will have a negative impact on the river basin, and the animals that depend on the river to sustain their life. -Climate change is increasing the temperature of the air surrounding us, hotter temperatures means more water is being used by humans. Human Impact |
Because the Colorado River supports so many humans in the west, lately it has run dry due to over demand of water. Human induced climate change is increasing, population growth is through the roof, dams and diversions are continuing to be built, and oil spills near the banks of the river continue to occur. We, as humans make a huge impact in the future of the river. Everyday it is becoming more dessert like, we must use less water, limit our population, and mostly let the river flow naturally, by putting an end to dams and by putting an end to diverting the water.
